Description This module is faithful replica of the filter from the legendary Roland SH-101 that was released in 1982. The AM8101 is a fantastic sounding 4-pole low pass filter with that unmistakable sound in a a narrow format, skiff friendly, Eurorack module.

The module uses a modern Alfa Rpar AS3109 chip in the filter core (IR3109 clone) and PPS filter capacitors (for a fantastic sound). The design includes buffering Op Amps to interface to Eurorack modular levels. The resonance is smooth and controllable into self-oscillation.

There are slide potentiometers (with orange LED's) for adjusting the Cutoff Frequency and Resonance, and rotary potentiometers for adjusting 2x control voltages (LFO and ENV) and 2x audio signal inputs (INA and INB).

A small slide switch selects whether the envelope CV input is Normal or Inverted and there is an external keyboard CV input, which tracks at 1V/octave. 

The AM8101 is built with high quality components, Alpha potentiometers, and Roland N-127 control knobs (as used on the Roland 100M and TR-808).

There are six 3.5 mm jack sockets on the red anodised aluminium front panel:

• 2x audio inputs (INA, INB)
• 3x frequency CV inputs (KYBD, LFO, ENV)
• 1x audio output (OUTPUT)

The module comes with a set of M3 mounting screws and washers, and a standard Doepfer power cable.
