AM8141 ADSR & Gate Delay
OVERVIEW This 16HP module is inspired by the Roland 100M 141 module, which appeared in 1978 as a prototype, with circuits taken from the System 100M and 700. The AMSynths module has three functions:
- ADSR envelope generator (inspired by the Roland 140 module)
- Gate Delay (inspired by the Roland 713 module)
- Dual Inverter Adder (inspired by the Roland 716 module)
The AM8141 has been developed with great care and attention to detail to ensure the original character is accurately replicated, including the manufacture of custom potentiometers.

DESCRIPTION The ADSR has two timing settings to provide a range of sounds from super snappy to ambient long. There are both Gate and Trigger inputs, with a Manual Gate button and a red LED Gate On indicator. There are normal and inverted outputs and the usual attack, decay, sustain and release slide potentiometers.
The Gate Delay delays the incoming Gate signal by 1ms to 6.5 seconds with slide potentiometers for the off delay and the on duration of the gate signal. A green LED indicates when the rise and fall stages are active. The Gate input is normalised to the Gate Delay output and works with EuroRack gate signals.
CONNECTIONS There are sixteen 3.5 mm jack sockets on the base of the light grey powder coated panel, which has a white silk screen that matches the original 100M style.
