OVERVIEW AMSynths are now complianct with EU GPSR to ensure customers have a high standard of safety when using our products. We have also appointed an EU Authorised Representative. 

The changes we have made:

• • A hard copy, multi-lingual, set of Product Safety Instructions is included in your shipment, which we ask all customers to read before using our products.
  • The Safety Instructions include the name and contact details of our EU Authorised Representative, and improved contact details for AMSynths.
  • A two year warranty now applies to all the products we sell.
  • Revised Product Manuals with details of the EU regulation compliance, and improved warranty and legal disclaimer statements.

Behind the scenes we have created detailed technical documentation for our products, which ensures compliance and prepares us for the EU Digital Product Passports that are required from 2027.

This technical documentation contains a checklist of all the components in our products with a cross reference to their RoHS compliance certificates, from the PCB's through the hardware to the panels.This provides an audit trail of safety compliance.

As a result of EU Regulations we have reluctantly decided not to sell modules in kit form as we can not comply with CE or GPSR compliance. We may offer selected module kits for sale in the UK via a distributor in the future. Please contact AMSynths if you are in the UK and wish to purchase a kit.

Unfortunately Sales to NI (Northern Ireland) have ceased permanently due to significant issues with getting shipments delivered via NI customs and An Post. It is not viable for us the make shipments to the NI.

AMSynths is possibly the first Eurorack manufacturer in the UK to take the EU GPSR regulations seriously with full compliance and an EU Authorised Representative.
