Shipping & Tax

Shipping and Customs Charges We ship all our modules in multi-wall cardboard boxes with the module carefully packed in recyclable materials. All shipping costs are automatically calculated in our online store system, so that we are sure of providing the right service and invoice amount. 

 

Order Dispatch Timeframes We aim to dispatch orders within 1 - 2 working days.

UK Orders We do not charge VAT and there are no custom charges. Shipping is via Royal Mail 24 Next Working Day service, this is a tracked and insured service. 

 

EU Orders We charge VAT & customs fees on some orders (e.g Germany). Shipping is via Royal Mail International.

Northern Ireland Orders We no longer ship to NI due to significant delays, issues in customs handling, and problems with An Post returning orders undelivered. If the situation improves we will recommence shipping - apologies. 

 

USA Orders Customs & tax charges apply to our shipments, as the "de minimus" exemption has been withdrawn.

  

Royal Mail have expanding their PDDP (Post Deliverd Duties Paid) service to the USA, this is a tracked but not a "signed for" service. This means that the 10% customs tax on the shipment is pre-paid by the customer and the shipment will clear US customs. Customers need to pre-pay the customs tax (10%) which is itemised in your invoice. 

Canada Orders Shipping is via Royal Mail International Tracked (signed is not available), unless you request otherwise. We attach a customs form on the package stating the value and content of the purchase.

 

Expect to pay 4% customs duty and 5% GST on importing our products into Canada.  Shipments with a value below CAD$20 are within the current "de minimis" exemption, but none of our products are at this price point.

  • Other Destinations (incl. Japan): Royal Mail International (tracked and insured)

If you cannot see a shipping cost in your basket when checking out it means we need to set a customised shipping cost, just drop us an email. We do not ship to South America, Africa, Russia, Asia (except Japan).

Minimal Packaging Our modules are packaged in plain corrugated cardboard boxes and internal padding (tissue paper and Hexcel) to protect them during transport and warehousing.

   

We don’t believe the additional cost (which would increase the price of our modules) and environmental impact associated with glossy packaging is worth it for the few minutes of visual impact before you add the module to your system. 

   

Safety Instructions & User Manual Hard copy safety instructions are included in the shipping box and the module box has a sticker with the User Manual download location on it.
