MODULAR III
Overview This range of modules is designed to recreate the Moog IIIc/p of 1966 and augment the Behringer System 55, with modules that replicate features of the Moog IIIc/p and add exciting new features such as Ring Modulation, manual analog switches and internal busses.
Module Upgrades Modified versions of the Behringer 904A and 904B filter modules are available with the correct capacitors, for a true vintage sound. Coupled together with the AM904C brings band pass and band reject modes.
Custom Sequencers The AM961 Interface and AM962 Sequential Switch bring the modifications made by Tangerione Dream to Eurorack.
Higher Quality, Lower Prices This year the range of modules has been expanded and they all feature improved etched aluminum panels, Moog style control knobs and lower prices.
All modules are in production.

AM1631 Dual Ring ModulatorThis module is a recreation of the Moog Dual Ring Modulator that Keith Emerson commissioned from Bob Moog in the 1970's. There are no original schematics so the circuit is an approximation using ideas from the Moog Bode Frequency Shifter and the Roland 700 Modular. The AM1631 uses a pair of LM1496 modulation IC's, and a 1458 Dual Op Amp. T

AM904A FIlter Upgrade (KIT)The AM904A Daughter Board is a complete kit for upgrading your Behringer 904A VCF module to the original Moog 1968 version from the IIIP. The kit consists of a populated Daughter Board PCB that attaches to the rear of the Behringer PCB with included PCB standoffs. The new PCB is populated with high quality polypropylene capacitors and header pins. The customer must carefully desolder the original capacitors and replace them with header sockets. Experience of soldering and desoldering is MANDATORY. The frequency cutoff of the VCF needs to be adjusted using the Behringer trimmer, by ear with no oscilloscope needed. If you are not confident of your skills you can purchase an upgraded 904A module from us, see separate product listing The upgraded 904A delivers a faithful reproduction of the 1968 Moog filter with the correct lower capacitor values and high quality sound. Build instructions are here: AM904A Project Notes V1.1.pdf PRODUCT STATUS: IN PRODUCTION

AM992 Control VoltagesDecsription This module replicates the Moog 992 Control Voltages module with four CV inputs with internal patching capability and is designed to inter-operate with the 904A and 904B filter modules. All four inputs have front panel jack sockets, with the first three inputs connected to an internal IDC 6-pin bus which is normalised to the front panel jack sockets. The fourth CV input goes via an attenuator potentiometer and is mixed into the other three signals using a precision Op Amp. The IDC 6-wire bus contains three sets of CV signal and three sets of V-Trigger signal. It is internally connected ("behind the module") to receiving and transmitting Eurorack modules manufactured by AMSynths. Transmitting modules have external jack sockets for patching in Euorack compatible pitch, modulation and gate signals. Receiving modules include the AM-CP3 and AM992, transmitting modules include the AM-CP1 and AM-CP4. The output of the CV mixer is available on the front panel for patching into t...

AM993 Env and VCA ControlDescription This module is recreation of the Moog 993 Triggers and Envelope Control module from 1968. The 993 is a signal routing module for S-triggers coming from one or two controllers. Switches (with red LED's), labelled "from 1" or "from 2" at the top of the panel connect the controller trigger outputs (when lit) to the 911A Dual Trigger Delay. The lower three left hand column switches (orange LED's) route the trigger signal as follows: top switch - to left 911 with no delay, center switch - to center 911 with delay set by top 911A delay unit (if any), bottom switch - to the right 911with delay set by the bottom 911A (if any). The right hand switches (with green LED's) connect the DC control voltages from the 911's to their respective 902 Voltage Controlled Amplifiers: Left to left, center to center, right to right. Any of these routes may be connected at the same time. The AM993 PCB has a 12V power inlet socket, eight slide switches and LED s. The modules connects to the 902, 9...
