DESCRIPTION The AM904A Filter Upgrade is a complete kit for upgrading your Behringer 904A VCF module to the original 1968 version from the Moog Modular IIIp. 

The kit consists of a populated Daughter Board PCB that attaches to the rear of the Behringer PCB with included PCB standoffs. The new PCB is populated with high quality polypropylene capacitors and header pins. The capacitors are the same type used in the original.

The customer must carefully desolder the original capacitors and replace them with header sockets. Experience of soldering and desoldering is MANDATORY. The frequency cutoff of the VCF needs to be adjusted using the Behringer trimmer, by ear, with no oscilloscope needed.

The upgraded 904A module delivers a faithful reproduction of the 1968 Moog filter with the correct lower capacitor values and a high quality sound. There is a noticeable improvement in filter quality and resonance.
