SEQUENCERS
Overview AMSynths are re-imagining vintage analog sequencers from the 1970's in Eurorack format.
The first sequencer (AM313) is from a 1976 Hamburg based synth manufacturer, that was famously used by Klaus Schulze, along with the matching AM313 Sequentiual Switch.
Production starts in Autumn 2026
SEQUENCERS
AM313 Sequential SwitchThe AM313 analog switch dates back to 1976 and the beginnings of a German synthesizer manufacturer, when they were a modular synthesizer company. The 313 is an advanced seqeuntial switch, more capable than the Moog 962, Roland or Emu Systems equaivalents. It has 4 channels/steps and the unique ability to skip and repeat the steps. The four channels are sequenced by an external clock signal or by pressing the shift button. The four signal inputs are mixed to the output when a channel is selected. Red LED's indicate which channel is active. Within any of the four channels the steps can programmed using a 6-way rotary switch which enables the step to be skipped, retained as one step, or the step can be repeated by 2, 3, 4 or 8 times befoe the channel is advanced. The step repeats are indpendent across all 4 channels. This featue enables the 8 steps from the AM314 sequencer (or a Moog 960) to be built into 16 or 24 steps, and with each row of 8 capable of being programmed in terms of #...
SEQUENCERS
AM314 Analog SequencerThe AM314 is a recreation of a German 8x3 analog sequencer from 1976 that was used extensively by Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream. This sequencer has some unique features that can be adjusted in realtime, make it the best live performance analog sequencer invented. Accurate step timing variation Three control voltages available in addition to step timing. Sequence step back as well as skip, go to 1 and stop Position gate outputs can be individually switched ON/OFF Voltage Controlled Clock The sequencer is driven by a voltage controlle clock that has a frequency range of 0.01Hz to 400Hz across two selected ranges. The clock has a manually adjusted pulse width from near 0 to near 100% to enable the gate timing of attached envelope generators to be adjuste. There are momentary push button switches to START and STOP the seqeuncer, with green and red LED indicators respectively. A green LED shows the lock rate, and the START and STOP functions can be controlled by external trigger sign...
