AM992 Control Voltages
8 HP | AM992 Control Voltages | User Manual (PDF) | Modular Grid | You Tube
OVERVIEW This module replicates the Moog 992 Control Voltages with four CV inputs and internal patching for driving Behringer 904A and 904B filter modules. The module is designed to reduce the need for patch cables and to replicate the CV internal bus structure of the original Moog Modulars.
The module AM992 is supplied with PCB Daughter Boards that attach to the rear of the 904A and 904B and a cable that interlinks them with the AM992.
PLEASE NOTE: A small amount of Synth DIY is needed to solder wires to the back of the Behringer modules from the Daughter Boards.
DESCRIPTION All four inputs have front panel jack sockets, with the first three inputs connected to an internal IDC 6-pin bus which is normalised to the front panel jack sockets. The fourth CV input goes via an attenuator potentiometer and is mixed into the other three signals using a precision Op Amp.
The IDC 6-wire bus contains three sets of CV signal and three sets of V-Trigger signal. It is internally connected ("behind the module") to receiving and transmitting Eurorack modules manufactured by AMSynths. Transmitting modules have external jack sockets for patching in Euorack compatible pitch, modulation and gate signals.
Receiving modules include the AM996 and AM992, transmitting modules include the AM-CP1 and AM-CP4.
