Overview The AMSynths DIODE-01 is an accurate replica of the Roland System 101 analog synthesizer combined with the extra features in the 102. This makes a feature rich single VCO synthesizer with a diode ladder filter, hence the name.

The DIODE-01 is built across two PCB's; one holds the panels controls and the other contains the analog circuits. The PCB's attached to an aluminium front panel which fits into a 60HP of Eurorack space, or a the panel can be easily fitted into a Moog Mother 32 60HP case.

The DIODE-01 will be available as a completed Eurorack synth.

Features The DIODE-01 maintains the unusual layout of the original design with all the modulation source on the left including the envelope generator. The synth is semi-modular and the normailsed patching is illustrated by blue lines (CV signals) and orange lines (audio signals).

• Envelope Generator - traditional but fast ADSR
• LFO - with three waveforms (triangle, sine, sawtooth)
• S&H - with its own wide ranging clock (0.25Hz to 400Hz)
• VCO - with range switch and four waveforms (triangle, sawtooth, square, pulse)
• The VCO has the sync feature of the 102 (strong or weak)
• Noise source with white and pink colours
• Ring Modulator, normalised to the VCO and LFO
• High pass filter, 3dB passive design
• Voltage controlled 24dB diode filter with self oscillation
• Voltage controlled amplifier
• Output stage that mixes a second input into a final output 

Availability The DIODE-01 is currently in development and the prototype will be shown at Machine Bristronica 2025 with a dark grey powder coated panel with three colour silk screen print.
