AM1021 Sequential Switch
4 HP | AM1021 Sequential Switch | User Manual (PDF) | ModularGrid | You Tube
OVERVIEW This 4HP module expands the capability of the Behringer 1027 Sequencer by adding a Sequential Switch that enables sequences of 8, 16 or 24 steps to be generated. The avoids having to use the 1050 module for the same function.
DESCRIPTION The AM1021 module enables the Behringer 1027 module to create 16 or 24 step sequences in addition the the usual eight. The 1021 is patched into the clock, CHA, CHB and CHC outputs of the 1027. The combined CV sequence is available from the OUTPUT jack socket.
There are two front panel controls; the STEP button manually advances the sequence to the next 8 steps, the RESET button resets the sequence to the first position. The RESET function can also be activated by an external gate signal patched into the RESET jack socket. This enables sequences to end or loop at step values between 8 and 16, or 8 and 24.
A slide switch sets the length of the sequence; either 8, 16 or 24 steps. Using the RESET feature curtails the sequence before these step values if desired. There are three red LED's to indicate the position of the sequence.
CONNECTIONS There are five 3.5 mm jack sockets on the anodised aluminium front panel:
- CHA, CHB, CHC - Patch to the outputs on the B1027
- OUTPUT - combined CV output, patch to your modules
- CLOCK IN - Patch to the STEP 1 position output on the B1027
- RESET - Trigger or Gate signal to return the sequence to its starting position
The module comes with the 2x M3 plastic spacers, a set of M3 mounting screws, and a standard 10-way Doepfer power cable.
MODULE STATUS: IN PRODUCTION
