OVERVIEW This 14 HP wide module contains two identical voltage controlled ADSR envelope generators. The slope of the stages can be set to either linear or exponential using a front panel push button, as well as a loop option that turns it into a LFO. The timing of the stages can be reduced by a factor of 100 using the front panel TIME potentiometer.

DESCRIPTION In 1970 ARP planned to make a dual voltage controlled envelope generator for the ARP 2500 Modular Synthesizer, but it never made production. 

The AMSynths AM1037 fills in a piece of history by re-imagining the original ARP module with a modern digital circuit that is stable and accurate. 

The attach, decay, sustain and release times of the AM1037 can be controlled by the control knobs and/or external CV signals that are patched into the module. The A, D and R stage timings can be varied from 1ms to 10 seconds, the timing can be adjusted by a factor of 100 either manually or by voltage control.

The envelope curves can be set to be linear or exponential by the GREEN push button. The envelope generaor can bet set of LFO mode by pressing the BLUE push button. 

The envelopes are activated by a manual RED push button or by an external Eurorack gate and optional trigger signal. High quality Alpha potentiometers and Rogan ARP 2500 knobs have been used to ensure stage times can be easily set and adjusted. The 10V outputs are compatible with the Behringer 2500 ecosystem.

CONNECTIONS Each envelope generator has nine 3.5 mm jack sockets on the anodised aluminium front panel: 

• A,D,S,R and T CV's - 0 to +10V control voltages 
• Gate - A CV signal above +2V will activate the envelope generator
• Trigger - A CV signal above +2V will retrigger the envelope generator 
• Out - 0 to +10V CV output from the envelope generator
• Inv - 0 to -10V inverted CV output from the envelope generator

 The module comes with a set of M3 mounting screws and washers, and a standard 16-way Doepfer power cable.

The module is available in either of two dual knob colors;

• Blue & Green 
• Silver & Red
